Charlemagne Yankouty

He is Mayor of Porto-Novo since June 2020.

With a degree in finance and management sciences from the University of Abomey-Calavi, he previously worked for British American Tobacco (BAT) in Ouidah and served as general manager of IAMD-Microfinance in Porto-Novo.

In 2019, he was appointed coordinator of the project for the support of the capacities of the parliament and election management bodies by the National Assembly of Benin. 

He was involved in the community sector with the group of the associations for development of the 5th district of Porto-Novo as Deputy Secretary General and he was the Secretary General of the group of associations for development of Akonaboè.
