Luc Sétondji Atrokpo

He is Mayor of Cotonou since 2020.

A lawyer by training, Mayor Atrokpo began his political career as first deputy mayor of the city of Bohicon in 2003. 

He has been elected deputy of the National Assembly several times. He has been also been mayor of Bohicon for several mandates. 

During his political career, he was president of the National Association of Benin Municipalities (ANCB).

He was also first vice-president of the council of local authorities of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (CCT/UEMOA), president of the Union of Zou Municipalities (UCOZ) and member of the board of directors of the International Association of Francophone Regions (AIRF)
