Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas

Luis Donaldo Colosio Rioja is the Mayor of Monterrey since June 2021. 

He holds a law degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) and a degree in International Financing and Payment Methods from the same institution. 

He began his political career in 2018, as a candidate of the Movimiento Ciudadano in the departmental level elections for the state of Nuevo León and then became a local deputy in the Congress of Nuevo León where he was involved in multiple commissions and committees
