Bridging our Diversities | ICHRE 2017 in Montreal

From November 30 to December 3, the city of Montreal hosted the 8th International Conference on Human Rights Education (ICHRE2017).

From November 30 to December 3, the city of Montreal hosted the 8th International Conference on Human Rights Education (ICHRE2017) organized by Equitas – International Centre for Human Rights Education, in partnership with the United Nations Office of High Commissioner on Human Rights, among others.

This 8th Conference on the topic « Bridgnig our Diversities » gathered more than 300 participants from all over the world for practical workshops and insightful sessions feauturing the latest tools, knowledge and good practices in human rights education. See programme.

The International Observatory of Mayors on Living Together, repesentatives from the Direction du développement social et de la diversité, the BINAM, among other Departments of the City of Montreal, as well as from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), participated to a workshop about the role of cities on human rights education.

The ICHRE is the forum for practitionners, policy-makers and academics to explore innovative education solutions to global challenges through human rights education. In 2017, Equitas celebrates its 50th anniversary.
