IDLTP 2022: All of us

February 9, 2022

On the occasion of the 5th edition of the IDLTP, the Observatory invite the cities to participate in the international campaign around the dessimination of a documentary film.

On May 16, 2022, the 5th edition of the International Day of Living Together in Peace (IDLTP) will be held. This day was created by the United Nations to highlight the importance of acting in favor of solidarity, peace and harmony.

While cities are on the frontline of the main global challenges in terms of social cohesion - and particularly of the COVID-19 pandemics, we again invite our members to mark this day, which will be celebrated around the world.

For this edition, the documentary film "All of us" will be made available to cities in order to be disseminated for free. This film immerses the viewer into the new reality where citizens are reinventing education, social relations, culture and work, with the sole aim of creating a united community, living in peace, in a process of resilience, sometimes overcoming the traumas of conflict or tensions (watch teaser).

Following the proposal made during our last Mayors Summit on Living Together, which was held on December in Izmir, we invite our member cities to participate in this day by:
  •  the dissemination of the film, through their communication tools (e.g.: social media, website, etc.) ;
  • or, the organisation of a film screening on a theater or location of your choice ;
  • or, the signature of the Universal Declaration of Living Together in Peace (as a citizen or on behalf of your institution).
Considering the leadership of cities in the promotion of the values and the practice of Living Together, and as your objectives are aligned with those of the International Day of Living Together in Peace (IDLTP), we propose you to participate in the dissemination of the film and to the signature campaign of the Universal Declaration of Living Together in Peace which will be held on the week of May 16, 2022.

Participating in this initiative is simple. The concrete terms are described within the partners information folder.
