Victoria

Victoria is the capital and largest city of the Seychelles. The city of Victoria is located on the northeast coast of the island of Mahé, the main island of the archipelago. Victoria has a population of 25 000 people, more than a third of the Seychelles total population. Victoria's territory has an area of 20.1 km². Victoria has three official languages: the Seychellois Creole which is spoken by 97 % of the population, English and French. The city is the political, financial and administrative center of the Seychelles.
